About Us

Chris Rosati began working in the grocery business in 1982 at Showerman's IGA. He started out at the bottom - pushing carts and bagging groceries, but it was always his dream to one day own his own supermarket. In 2000 his dream came true and he purchased his first store in Fowlerville, the former Frank's IGA. In 2015 he purchased what is now Rosati's Marketplace in Prescott and in 2020, Chris purchased the former Rick's in Hemlock and reopened it as Rosati's Fresh Market. The Rosati family was honored by the warm welcome they received in Hemlock, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Today, Rosati's is a true family business. Chris's wife, daughter and extended family all lend a hand and have helped at the Rosati's stores over the years. Chris's son, Dave, joined the team in 2006 and is a partner at the Hemlock store. Chris's younger son, Josh, has worked at Rosati's the past two years and is partner with his father and brother at the new Beaverton and Edenville locations.
